Contessa combines fun and discipline in the efforts to get the best out of each individual gymnast. Contessa believes that ""there is a star in EVERY gymnast."" She recognizes ""that the best gymnasts are not the most talented; instead the gymnasts with a strong work ethic, confidence and goals will excel the furthest and the quickest. Gymnastics is 100% mental. You can only do what you believe you can do. Building confidence is the first step to creating a great gymnast."" Contessa has lead many teams and gymnasts to victory in the Georgia State Championships. She has coached 17 State Champion Teams, 30 Vault Champions, 48 Bar Champions, 45 Beam Champions, 47 Floor Champions, and 55 All-Around Champions. |

Sharon has been involved with gymnastics throughout her life. She started as a gymnast in Canada participating in both Provincial and National Levels. She was awarded a gymnastics scholarhip at Iowa State University where she graduated with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. After 5 years of being a member of the Lady Cyclones Gymnastics Team she spent 5 years in law enforcement in both communications and crime scene & laboratory investigations. After an absence from the gymnastics community she returned to start coaching in Georgia and loves every minute of it. In addition to being a coach, Sharon is also a Level 10 gymnastics judge and a member of the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges. Judging is a great asset to accompany coaching, as it provides the opportunity to bring out the best in each gymnast. Sharon has produced numerous State, Regional and National Champions throughout the years and the Optional Teams continue to be strong in the Southeast.
